PIE – Business Integration Project
As part of the Academic High School Program with an Emphasis on Business Management and Graphic Design, Colegio Colombo Internacional ACOINPREV develops the Business Integration Project (PIE), a pedagogical initiative aimed at strengthening students' workforce skills, critical thinking, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
What is it about?
This project invites students, starting in 8th grade, to create innovative microenterprises designed to solve real-life problems within their communities. Each initiative begins with a research question, allowing students to apply academic knowledge to their social and economic context.

Grade-Level Process
8th Grade: Initial formulation of the project and research question.
9th & 10th Grade: Development of the product or service, project progress presentation at the Business Fair, and defense of the research process.
11th Grade:: Final monograph presentation, written defense, and exhibition of the entrepreneurial project outcome.
Active participation in this project and in the Business Fair is a mandatory requirement for promotion in Lower Secondary and for graduation in Upper Secondary.
The Business Fair is the institutional event where students showcase their business ventures, present business ideas, and apply their research processes. This event highlights student talent and provides an opportunity to practice soft skills such as:
